Jackson, Mississippi visual artist/art historian, Pan-Africanist, Harold S. Dorsey graduated from Arkansas AM&N College (now The University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff in 1960 and studied there under Art Professor John Howard. Dorsey taught art at Prairie View A&M University for 20 years before retiring in 2008.
Sitting here with Mr. Dorsey at Mcdonalds. Just met him and we are conversing over a cup of coffee. Im not impressed with most nor am I a fan of paintings, at least I wasnt, until I viewed his work. God has definitely worked through him.
